The UN Reflections Series 2016 will follow the theme "Development Cooperation, Policy Advice and Middle Income Countries (MICs)". This 21/2 -day conference will revolve around the challenges and opportunities that development cooperation actors face when working towards sustainable development in MICs within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement on climate change.
The conference will be run in multiple formats to foster learning and engagement. While keynotes and analyses by professional practitioners will provide input for discussions, the clinics will allow participants to enjoy spaces for practical learning and skills building. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to hear from experts in the field about their different experiences and perspectives on MICs' particular challenges.
Aside from these sessions, the programme design allows for networking opportunities during an evening reception, a World Café and coffee breaks.
